Entrepreneurs can be of different types. They are found in every economic system and every form of economic activity. They come from all walks of life — farmers, labourers, fishermen, tribes, artisans, artists, importers, exporters, bankers, professionals, politicians, bureaucrats. Based on their characteristics, C. Danhof broadly classified entrepreneurs into four types.
Think of it like a cricket team: Innovative entrepreneurs are the captains who invent new shots. Imitative entrepreneurs are batsmen who learn those shots and use them. Fabian entrepreneurs are the cautious players who only play safe shots. Drone entrepreneurs refuse to even come to the nets!
