Study Simplify publishes study notes, solved questions, previous-year questions, and practice tools for CBSE and GSEB commerce students. This page explains where the material comes from, how it is written and checked, and how to report a correction.
Sources
- Prescribed textbooks: NCERT for CBSE, GSEB textbooks for Gujarat Board.
- The official board syllabus and exam pattern.
- Previous-year question papers and the site's practice question bank.
Where a page depends on a specific source, the chapter or textbook is named on the page.
How notes are written
- Each note is original prose written for the topic; textbook text is not copied.
- Notes follow a consistent shape: the idea in plain language, the rule or formula, a worked example, and exam pointers.
- Examples use Indian business and classroom contexts.
- The "Last updated" date shows when the note was last revised.
How questions are answered
- Answers follow the board's marking conventions and the marks allocated.
- MCQ answers include the correct option and a short reason.
- Case-based questions keep the passage and the sub-questions together.
- Where a question depends on a figure or table, the figure is included.
Review and corrections
- Material is checked for accuracy and consistency as it is produced.
- A reader can report an error at contact@studysimplify.in with the page URL and the correction.
- Corrections are checked against the textbook; the page is updated and the date changed.
- If we disagree with a correction, we explain why instead of silently ignoring it.
AI assistance
- AI tools assist with drafting, structuring, formatting, and consistency checks.
- AI output is not a source. Facts, figures, and board-specific wording are checked against the textbook and the syllabus.
- A human editor is responsible for what is published and for corrections.
